8/29/2008 - Theft of a Utility Trailer

Lafayette Police need your help with identifying several suspects wanted in connection with a theft of a utility trailer.  The suspects are depicted in surveillance video on the parking lot of a local business.  Now Lafayette Crime Stoppers need your help with identifying them.

The suspects driving a dark colored extended cab truck back up to a parked utility trailer at a local business, hook up to it and drive off.  The trailer was loaded with several thousands dollars worth of construction tools.  The trailer was parked behind the newly constructed business (Smoothie king) The suspects are seen exiting the parking lot traveling east on Ambassador Caffery.

8/8/2008 - Theft of Shrimp

On Wednesday, July 23rd, an unidentified male suspect entered Albertsons and demanded merchandise from an employee while armed with a knife.  The suspect fled in an unknown direction on a bicycle.  Now Lafayette Crime Stoppers need your help in identifying him.

The suspect armed with a knife stole two packages of shrimp prior to leaving the store.  When confronted by the manager, he pushed the manager to the floor before exiting the business.  He is described as a black male, wearing khaki pants, black shirt and black baseball cap.  He also had on a backpack.

7/17/2008 - Lafayette Golf Course Break-In

Crime Stoppers needs your help to catch the individuals who broke into the Pro Shop at a Lafayette Golf Course.  On Saturday, July 5th, the Pro Shop at Vieux Chenes Golf Course was broken into.  The suspects in this case first disabled the alarm system, then forced open the door to a small utility room which is connected to the Pro Shop.  They then pryed open the duct work on the air conditioning system and climbed through the opening, gaining access to the main building. Once inside, the suspects spent a large amount of time forcing open a safe then taking the contents.

7/10/2008 - Concrete Curb Machine Stolen

On May 22, 2008, the owner of a local construction company reported that his Concrete Curb machine was stolen from a work site.  The machine was last seen the evening of May 21st when company employees secured the machine in a parking lot.  Now Lafayette Crime Stoppers need your help with providing information in connection with this crime.

The equipment is described as a CT-900 concrete machine, gray in color with black wheels and a black motor.  The machine is used for making concrete curbs and is a specialized piece of equipment.  Company employes secured the machine in a parking lot space at Bridgeway Apartments at 600 Dulles.  The machine is valued at $10,600.00.

6/26/2008 - Vehicle Vandalism

Crime Stoppers needs your help to catch the individuals who broke into several vehicles in the Youngsville area.

Several Car burglaries have occurred in the Youngsville area over the last couple of months.  In one of these burglaries which occurred on Greenhaven Drive, the suspects stole a purse containing several debt and credit cards.  One of the suspects was caught on a surveillance camera trying to use the stolen card at an ATM on Kaliste Saloom Rd.  As you can see, he is wearing a black AC/DC shirt and attempting to hide his identity from the camera.
